My most recent Roots obsession - the Selina Italian Leather Box Bag ($239.99) I wear it every day (did you know it's pink inside? sigh...)
I can always count on Roots for a hit of pure Canadiana, with its cozy sweaters, easy lounge wear, sumptuous leather handbags and nostalgic finds (Beaver Canoe, anyone?). With the influx of American chains storming our retail scene, I love to see that Roots is constantly growing, evolving and, like a fine VQA, just keeps getting better with age.
It's the last day of RLR's Treat Week and to celebrate, we're giving away a $50 Gift Card to Roots. To win, leave a comment below telling me your what you love most about Canada. (Maple syrup? Hockey? Justin Bieber?) Contest ends at 5 pm today. Good luck to every Canuck! x

What is not to love? From the rocky mountains, to the great lakes Canada is incredibly beautiful and our people are beautiful too! We welcome a variety or ethnicities which makes Canada unique. I am incredibly proud to say "I am Canadian" no matter where I travel in the world.
I love the diversity of our big beautiful country, and the opportunities that our freedom provides us.
The feeling! It's more peaceful here than where I'm from in California. So that's my absolute favorite thing about Canada. The overall attitude is better, and the political system is in way better shape! I love that a lot of Canadians seem to take eco-friendly products, and local products more seriously. Also, I miss garlic fries (which I haven't found anywhere since I came here!), but I love poutine! It's really hard to name just one thing... But Roots is certainly one of my favorite discoveries since coming to Canada 3 years ago! My most recent purchase was the large black Edie bag from the Valentine's Day collection. I've decided to only buy Roots purses from now on. Can't go wrong with something made of great quality leather, that's handmade in Canada!
Hi, I simply love Canada, for the fact that the people are warm and accepting, and the country has a lot to offer new immigrants. It has a perfect summer, and i love being on the lake in toronto especially at night with a full moon.
Thanks for the giveaway :)
I love that Canada is a place of safety and freedom. A sanctuary built of trees and lakes, beautiful animals, and kind people.
I love Tim Horton's (even though they have it in the states now too). Oh and the wonderful sights and sounds from the west to east coast. :)
I love Canada for it's diversity! It's people, land and seasons! It's what we're known for!
I love the unpredictable weather! LOL
REAL maple syrup. hands down. (oh, and tire sur la neige)

I love the air. I have travelled places that have pollution for sky but every time I come home, I take a big, deep breathe and am filled with gratitude!
