J.Crew just unveiled an exciting new relationship with goop – the weekly online lifestyle publication by my all-time style idol, Gwyneth Paltrow.

Goop partnered with J.Crew, styling their “Picks of the Season” into eight head-to toe-looks for Fall, featuring the goop founder and editor-in-chief.  The photos include Italian Cashmere, Thomas Mason Boy shirts, the Minnie pant, Edie handbag, & Stubbs & Wooton for J.Crew velvet slippers, among others.

Fall in Love

I'm a sucker for a good love story.  Whether it's Romeo & Juliet, William & Kate,  or Emily & Jef, I just love a perfect pairing.  Still, a love story isn't exclusive to people.  In fact, I've already fallen in love several times this fall - with the perfect bag, a pair of pants and countless times in the shoe department.  You see, we're in an open relationship, my wardrobe and I.  We've agreed that as long as they make me look good, I will take good care of them and love them all until they're old.  Win-win.

The Body Shop: Beauty with Heart

Last Friday, rlr mini and I woke up bright and (somewhat) early to head to the Toronto Eaton Centre.  The motivation?  The unveiling of The Body Shop's brand new (and much-buzzed-about) Pulse Boutique.  We strolled through the newly-renovated store to test out new products (everything from radiant BB Cream to shimmery Beautifying Oil) and reminisce about our old favourites (Johanna was obsessed with White Musk in highschool while I was a strawberry and kiwi lip gloss addict.  Remember those??).  Like us, The Body Shop has grown up, with its sophisticated new space, impressive makeup wall, and luxe-looking packaging. And of course, The Body Shop, as always, is way more than just a pretty face; its Beauty with Heart initiative aims to meld ethical practices (think zero animal testing) and Community Fair Trade ingredients with beautiful products (check out the video below to see the program in action and don't forget to follow The Body Shop on Facebook & Twitter to stay perpetually in-the-know about all of their new products and amazing initiatives)

We walked away with impressive swag bags filled with The Body Shop's 'Top 10' products including my can't-live-without Camomile Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover.  The best part?  The Body Shop gave us 2 extra gift bags to give away to you!  Yay!
